Currently, Stella is a Contributing Writer for Suite101, the Canada Christian Living Examiner at Examiner.com, a Christian blog writer, and a volunteer reporter/writer for her church. She has been published in Highlights for Children Magazine and Pack-o-Fun Magazine.

Stella has worked as a Primary/Elementary Teacher for over twenty years, and is currently employed as a substitute teacher for French and English Classroom from Kindergarten to Grade Six.

In addition to her B.A.(ed), Stella has completed two courses at The Institute of Children's Literature®: the Basic writing course and the Advanced writing course. She is currently enrolled in an Associate in Theology Program at Queen's College in St. John's, Newfoundland.

Stella's many interests include writing, Bible studies, volunteering for church activities, photography, making crafts, creating in the kitchen, hiking, birding, and cross-country skiing.

Due to her digestive problems and sensitivities to many things, Stella has adopted a keen interest in healthy living. This means that she spends a lot of time in her kitchen, creating nutritious recipes.
